Tetley Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
Australia
For over 100 years, Tetley has been part of Australian conversations, but some topics like breast cancer aren’t always easy to talk about. Our Tetley team in Australia has been doing some great work to support Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) through its Uncomfortable Cup campaign, designed to help spark life-changing conversations over a simple cup of tea.
Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among Australian women, and cases are rising in both women and men in Australia. Every day, 58 Australians receive a diagnosis, yet fear and uncertainty often prevent people from speaking up or seeking help.
To help change this, Tetley designed a limited-edition pink pack of Tetley Tea Cup100s and is donating 5 cents from every pack sold to the BCNA to support their work and the free access to vital resources, services, and advocacy for those affected they provide.
A sensory centre piece of the campaign is a collection of handcrafted ceramic mugs embossed with subtle, tactile features that reflect some of the real signs and symptoms of breast cancer. These cups are being used as part of their social media campaign as quiet but powerful tools to educate, prompt self-checks, and encourage open dialogue.

Canada
As you may have seen in our previous reports, Tetley Canada has been a proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society, donating over $1 million since 2001. Every year, we use the power of social media to let our customers decide on their favourite Pink Pack design. These limited-edition packs are more than just tea; they’re a symbol of hope for the many families facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

Furthering our culture of care & empowerment
This year, we took another important step forward in supporting the health and wellbeing of our community of International employees following the commitment of our team in the US to be a corporate partner of the Know Your Lemons Foundation.
Founded by Dr. Corrine Ellsworth-Beaumont, Know Your Lemons is a global breast health charity dedicated to advancing early detection of breast cancer through creative, inclusive, and empowering education.
The foundation is widely recognised for its innovative use of lemons as a visual metaphor to explain the 12 signs of breast cancer, a simple yet powerful approach that has helped millions worldwide spot symptoms early and seek timely care.
Through this partnership, our colleagues and their loved ones can access expert breast health resources, interactive tools, and educational workshops designed to raise awareness and understanding.
It’s one more way we’re building a culture that prioritises care, knowledge, and empowerment for everyone.
